Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat is specifically formulated to be used with Weathershield top coats to provide longer-lasting protection for exterior woodwork. Its water-based formulation is quick-drying and offers great flexibility to help absorb the natural movement of wood. Provides 6 years all-weather protection when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system.

Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution. New or bare surfaces: Prime all bare wood with 2 coats of Weathershield Preservative Primer +(BP) followed by 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Previously painted surfaces: 1 coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Finishing: Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats, then apply the appropriate Weathershield topcoat.
